Back in the saddle

Alright party people- it’s go time.  No messing around.  I am running hard and fast and strong in November.

Here are my November running resolutions:

1. I will run in the morning before work.  No more of this running at night business!

2. I will run all the hills.  I usually do, but that’s just usually.  I gotta take them all down.

3. I will run faster.  My average pace will be 9:00 or under by the first week of December.  They are usually AROUND that, but with my long runs and my tiredness, sometimes they creep up to 9:4somethings.  No more.

4. I won’t eat so much sugar.  That’s not a running thing, but something I need to kick.  Too many sweets and I lose my focus.  Gotta stop that nonsense.  And by “too many” I mean, well, if you only knew how much of my diet is sugar.  It’s mind boggling and belly boggling. I need to cook for my own damn self and stop eating treats for meals.  It’s kinda been a life-long habit, so we’ll see how THAT goes.  I mean, just 21 days to kick it, right?  I need a sponsor.

I think if I look toward Thanksgiving dinner and all the delicious deliciousness that is in store for me on that magical day, I might be able to resist some candy temptation.  I will hold myself accountable on here and keep you posted.  Megan.
